Traverse is the shoe suitable for "light hiking", a low shoe designed with the hiker who does not want to use boots in mind.
Traverse, an evolution of the Ultraventure Pro, also serves as a durable and protective option for trail running on technical terrain. Ideal for long hikes on rough terrain and mountain trails.
Feature set and improvement
- Breathable , resistant and tightly woven mesh upper that makes the foot stable and safe. The upper, combined with a more snug fit, makes the model very stable and precise, giving a great feeling of safety even on challenging sections.
- Strategically placed PU print on the upper adds extra structure and durability in high abrasion areas.
- 30-25mm drop, 5mm drop, with rock-plate on the forefoot. The rock plate protects the foot but also makes the shoe more resistant to torsion and therefore more suitable for supports on technical terrain where precision is required.
- Zip Foam midsole offers the perfect blend of cushioning and protection, while still allowing for some ground feel, essential when hiking on technical terrain.
- New insole made with TPU beads that do not soak if it gets wet. In this way, water is expelled faster leaving the foot drier. The midsole contact beads increase stability even if the insole is wet.
The Vibram Megagrip sole offers excellent traction and slip resistance on all terrains, especially in wet conditions.
