Traverse is the shoe suitable for "light hiking", a low shoe designed with the hiker who does not want to use boots in mind.
The Traverse, a development of the Ultraventure Pro, also serves as a durable and protective option for trail running on technical terrain. Ideal for long hikes on rugged terrain and mountain trails.
Feature set and improvement
- Breathable , durable , and tightly woven mesh upper that keeps the foot stable and secure. The upper, combined with a more snug fit, makes the model very stable and precise, providing a great feeling of safety even on challenging stretches.
- Strategically placed PU print on the upper adds extra structure and durability in high abrasion areas.
- 30-25 mm drop, 5 mm drop, and a rock plate on the forefoot. The rock plate protects the foot but also makes the shoe more resistant to torsion, making it better suited for precision landings on technical terrain.
- Zip Foam midsole offers the perfect blend of cushioning and protection, while still allowing for some ground feel, essential when hiking on technical terrain.
- New insole made with TPU beads that don't soak when wet. This allows water to escape faster, leaving the foot drier. The beads in contact with the midsole increase stability even when the insole is wet.
The Vibram Megagrip outsole offers excellent traction and slip resistance on all terrains, especially in wet conditions.
