A classic BF event not to be missed: November 23rd
On Sunday, November 23rd, we organized, together with Andrea Zinno , the event "Discovering Villa Ada." This excursion tells the story of the Villa and explores it on foot.
The hike is usually about 8.5km long with very little elevation gain and is open to everyone as long as you have some walking experience.
Andrea from Villa Ada Savoia and we at BF will accompany you on a beautiful loop that will touch on the main points of interest.
This event has become a regular event and is held a couple of times a year. It's in high demand and sells out very quickly, so we recommend checking back for the next date!

LET'S RECAP!
Where?
The meeting point was Sunday 23 November at the entrance to Villa Ada in Ponte Salario, via ponte salario 28. We returned to the same starting point around 12:30/13:00 and there is always a break halfway through the route at the Villa Ada bar.
What did we do?
- We took a wonderful walk through one of Rome's most beautiful villas, nestled between nature and history! The Villa Ada park covers 160 hectares , including the ruins of Antemnae, one of the oldest cities in Lazio, built on the mountain of the same name opposite the confluence of the Tiber and Aniene rivers (Antemnae comes from ante amnem, "facing the river").
- They met Andrea Zinno, who created a Facebook page about Villa Ada, which now boasts 12,000 followers and produces top-quality content! Andrea is now a Villa Ada institution.
- We've gotten some exercise! Which never hurts! This hike is very easy and suitable for everyone! The pace is slightly brisk; to give you an idea, we'll try to maintain a pace of around 4 km/h. There are always several stops to give Andrea a chance to tell us stories about the Villa.
- You'll get tips from Daniela on how to best walk and get ideas for daily workouts in Rome's parks, which luckily are full of them!
