The shape and construction of SCARPA's new Cyrus 2 are in line with the Italian company's previous, historic model. The Cyrus is a sturdy shoe designed for those who cover long distances in all seasons and weather conditions.
The Nubuck leather upper makes the shoe very soft and durable. Additionally, the interior lining with a next-generation Gore-Tex membrane will help keep out water or moisture. Let's also talk about the last, which is one of the key features that has made this model famous. The Cyrus's fit is particularly wide, a classic feature of shoes designed for long runs. I'd say it's a key feature for "serial walkers." After a few kilometers, the foot tends to swell, even more so in summer, and having room for the sole becomes a real pleasure!
The midsole is constructed with an EVA structure that will guarantee the right amount of cushioning and a pleasant walking experience. Finally, the outsole, made with SCARPA's proprietary PRESA compound, will be the perfect ally for grip on all terrains.
The SCARPA CYRUS 2 is a versatile choice for light hikes, country walks, and travel abroad. It offers the comfort, waterproof protection, and support needed for all-day wear in a variety of adventurous conditions.
Our choice of this model stems from our focus on comfortable shoes for walking and traveling. By walking, in this case, we mean dirt roads, small mountain trails, and primarily long stretches of walking (like the Santiago route or the Via Francigene).

After years of using them, I can say these shoes are fantastic. At first, they seemed a bit heavy and stiff compared to my usual lightweight shoes, but I was looking for something solid and stable... and they didn't disappoint.
I've worn them on rugged hills, uneven terrain, and even on heather-filled stretches, and they've always felt safe and comfortable. They were a little stiff at first, but after just a few walks, they've adapted to my feet: now they're incredibly comfortable, even for long hikes.
A little tip: I went one size larger than my usual size (as I often do with boots and Scarpas) and they fit perfectly.
